Mining Engineering：Double-First Class construction disciplines
Mining Engineering is a traditionally preponderant discipline of CUMT, one of the national “world-class universities and first-class disciplines” construction disciplines. It was founded in 1909 and was authorized to grant the master’s degree in 1981 and the doctoral degree in 1984, and build the postdoctoral scientific research mobile station in 1985. The discipline ranked first in the past four rounds of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education in 2003, 2007, 2012, and 2017 and ranked in the top 20 of QS discipline evaluation in 2021. It has developed into a leading discipline with distinctive domestic and overseas characteristics.
1985 |
Mining Engineering postdoctoral scientific research mobile station was established. |
1988 |
Mining Engineering became one of the first national key disciplines. |
1995 |
Mining Engineering became one of the key disciplines listed in the national “211 Project” |
2001 |
Mining Engineering was again rated as the national key discipline. |
2006 |
Mining Engineering became one of the key disciplines listed in the national “985 Innovation Platform for Key Discipline Project”. |
2007 |
Mining Engineering was listed as one of the national first-level key disciplines. |
2010 |
Mining Engineering became one of Jiangsu preponderant disciplines. |
2017 |
Mining Engineering was listed as one of the key disciplines of the national“First-Class Discipline Project”. |
2022 |
Mining Engineering was listed as one of the construction disciplines of the national“world-class universities and first-class disciplines” |
