Wu Gang

Ph.D. in Engineering and postdoctoral fellow, serves as a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), senior expert of the Thousand Talents Think Tank at Shanxi Coal Society, and member of the Chinese Association of Automation. His current research focuses on intelligent coal mining, smart mine perception, mine pressure and strata control, and related scientific fields.

In recent years, he has led one NSFC Fund project and participated in over 10 major research initiatives, including the National Key Research and Development Program, National "863 Program" Projects, NSFC General Program Projects, Jiangsu Provincial "Six Talent Peaks" High-Level Talent Funding Projects, Shanxi Provincial Major Special Projects, and enterprise technological innovation programs. To date, he has published over 20 high-quality academic papers, including 10 SCI-indexed and 5 EI-indexed publications. His intellectual property achievements encompass 6 authorized international invention patents, 15 national invention patents, and 2 software copyrights. He has received 3 first-class and 3 second-class provincial/ministerial-level scientific and technological awards. Additionally, he has authored 1 core textbook for intelligent mining engineering and 1 academic monograph.
